How RealMeats.com Works

RealMeats connects you with local ranchers selling direct-to-consumer—so you can shop with confidence, choose delivery or pickup, and know exactly who you’re buying from.

Step 1 — Discover ranchers near you

Search by location to find ranchers that serve your area. Compare products and practices in one place—without hunting across social media, random websites, or outdated listings.

What you can do here:

  • Browse ranchers by location

  • View rancher profiles and product catalogs

  • Check delivery/pickup options before you buy

Step 2 — Shop by category (or by rancher)

You can shop the way that feels most natural:

Shop by category

Start with what you want most:

  • Beef

  • Fish

  • Pork

  • Poultry

Shop by rancher

Prefer to buy from one producer you trust? Visit a rancher profile to see their full selection, story, and fulfillment options.

Step 3 — Choose delivery or pickup

Each rancher sets their own fulfillment options. RealMeats makes those options easy to understand so there are no surprises at checkout.

Common options include:

  • Local delivery (within a stated radius or zone)

  • Pickup at the ranch/farm or a designated location

  • Shipping (when offered)

Step 4 — Checkout securely

When you’re ready, checkout is simple and secure. Your order confirmation includes the details you need to receive your items (delivery/pickup instructions, timing, and rancher contact info where applicable).

You’ll receive:

  • Order confirmation

  • Fulfillment instructions

  • Status updates (as enabled)

What “transparent marketplace” means here

RealMeats is built so customers can make informed decisions quickly. Instead of vague marketing claims, we encourage clear listings and consistent disclosures across ranchers.

On rancher profiles and product listings, you’ll typically find:

  • Product details and packaging notes

  • Practices and disclosures (as applicable)

  • Processing/handling info (where shared)

  • Fulfillment options + timing expectations

If something goes wrong

Meat is perishable, and every rancher has their own fulfillment workflow. If there’s an issue with your order (missing item, damage, timing, etc.):

  1. Take photos right away (if applicable)

  2. Contact the rancher using the info in your order confirmation

  3. If you need help, RealMeats support can assist with escalation

For ranchers: Sell direct with better tools

If you’re a rancher selling direct-to-consumer (or ready to), RealMeats helps you present your operation clearly and sell through a marketplace customers already trust.
