or pickup, and know exactly who you’re buying from.
STEP 1
Find your rancher
Search by location or browse rancher storefronts. Read the producer's story, practices, and product details to find the right fit for your household.
STEP 2
Choose your products
Check the cut or package, the quantity or weight basis, and what's included. A final-weight listing shows a deposit, a rate per hanging pound, and an estimated total. Its deposit is not the full purchase price.

STEP 3
Review how you'll receive the order
Check the rancher's pickup, delivery, or shipping options and any stated charges. Methods, service areas, and timing vary by rancher. Contact the rancher before ordering if a detail you need is missing.
Common options include:

Local delivery (within a stated radius or zone)

Pickup at the ranch/farm or a designated location

Shipping (when offered)
STEP 4
Order and pay through RealMeats
For a fixed-price order, pay the checkout total shown, including applicable taxes and charges.
For a final-weight order, pay the listed deposit to reserve it. After the rancher records the confirmed hanging weight, the final bill uses the pricing terms saved with your order, credits your deposit, and includes applicable final taxes and fees. Pay the remaining balance through the payment link provided with the final invoice.
Final-weight deposit products are checked out separately from fixed-price products.
STEP 5
Arrange pickup or delivery with your rancher
Review your order information and the rancher's fulfillment instructions. For final-weight orders, complete the remaining payment before pickup, delivery, or release. Contact the rancher if you need to clarify the timing or handoff.

IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG
WHAT TO DO
Meat is perishable, and every rancher has their own fulfillment workflow. If there’s an issue with your order (missing item, damage, timing, etc.):
1. Take photos right away (if applicable)
2. Contact the rancher using the info in your order confirmation
3. If you need help, RealMeats support can assist with escalation
